Heart hope for that one Happy Ending!

[The phone rang in a room at 4:00 AM]

Kavya: Hey! Are you okay?

Siddharth: Yaa! I am all right. What happened to you?

Kavya: NO! I just had a nightmare.

Siddharth: Are you kidding me? You are calling because of a nightmare.

Kavya: OKAY SORRY! Take care. Call me if you need anything.

Siddharth: Such a kid you’re! [And he hanged up the call]

Hello and welcome to Stories. Facts and Dreams!

Kavya is back with another storyline that will make you happy & emotional at the same time. I don’t know but there might be hundreds of people who have a similar story, who can relate to this experience.

The story is all about Kavya and Siddharth roller coaster friendship.

The beautiful friendship of kavya and Siddharth started when they were in 5th grade. It’s been 10 years of friendship and they never felt the need of anyone else, theirs are a roaring friendship. They trusted each other to the core and swore not to leave each other side.

They could talk and talk for an hour, spending most of their time on the phone, their small fights are a sign of their strong friendship and love between them. The friendship is real and so are the fights and they always make sure that they both get what they need and that brings them closer. Few things will fuel intimacy, connection and closeness like being seen, being heard and coming through a storm side by side.

There were days in kavya’s life where she believed there is nothing wrong in this world and she could never be unhappy or sad at any moment. She can't describe how happy she feels in his presence. She can't even begin to describe the love she has for him. Yes! The Love

Rewind to 2016:

Making fun of each other, calling each other for no reason, seeing each other at their worst, the time when she realized their roaring friendship turns into love for him, She realized she was in love, and it scared the crap out of her.

She didn’t want to be in love with her closest friend because she was afraid of losing him, but even more so, she was afraid of being rejected, because she knew he didn’t feel the same way.

For the past 3 years, she is preparing herself that one day he will leave her and she will be all alone.

One sunny afternoon, when kavya and her friend doing shopping and packing bags for their reunion party, her friend’s words of wisdom, “instead of avoiding the reality and your feelings, the first step is to acknowledge what it is, being honest about your emotions and being vulnerable won’t destroy you” gave her a ray of hope.

After gathering all the courage, she decided to talk about her feelings to Siddharth and she finally called him but there was no answer. She decided to confess her feelings at the tomorrow reunion party.

Kavya has only 9hours from that moment to plan something delightful and make him feel special.

She arranged everything so beautifully that any guy can fall in love with.

A gift, a letter and his favourite food!

The day arrives and Kavya is all set to blow the gaff.

It’s 6:30 in the evening when she decided to play a game and confess her feelings to Siddharth, But things are not always as they seem, while crossing the dinner table she overheard that Siddharth is already secretly in a relationship with someone and the girl is from his college and they are quite happy with each other.

Those 4 words were enough to ruin everything.

She felt lost, confused and heartbroken.

Tears came down from her eyes and thinking about him, how she was always cheerful only to make him happy. All their memories flashed in front of her eyes and tears were rolling down her face. She felt helpless and shattered. She smiled a hesitant smile and left the party.

“Why?!” she yelled as loudly as she could.

“How can someone be so sugar-coated and hide things from you?

A boy who shares everything with her why not shared such a life-changing story with her?

What is the meaning of being a best friend for the last 10 years?

How Can you love someone who is already in a relationship?”

Tons of questions to ask but she respects their relationship and back off because it will be like putting a grain of salt in her wounds.

The next 3 weeks were surely crucial for her, her biggest fear came in real-time but still, after preparing herself for 3 years her heart wasn’t ready, she tried to heal at her own pace.

After a time span of 2month kavya decided to leave for her abroad studies with a smile on her face, Without informing anyone she left the country with her untold feelings.

Kavya knows love isn't about what makes you feel good. It's about genuinely caring about what makes the other person feel good and choosing that over your own happiness. She knows that falling in love has no rulebook.

Some people don't get their happy endings and you never know where you are getting with your untold feelings until it’s the end and when things end you don’t cry because it ended you just try to put up the smile and be grateful that it happened. Everything will pass like all things do, even LOVE.

2years now, when she finds herself on the train of thought headed to the past for too long, she kindly takes her ticket and head to the exit door.

Ink pen, 5 years and Diary pages!

Only the diary knows how much she still loves him”

Hello and Welcome to stories, facts and dreams.

Some time ago I was sitting on my terrace looking at the sky and thinking what happiness really means to me?

I don’t get the answer then but on the other day, I saw a post on Facebook, it’s probably only 30% true and written by a 16-year-old boy but regardless, I found it wrong, and at the very least, thought-provoking.

[Facebook Post]:

"HAPPINESS is having that one person in our life".

[Thoughts in my mind]:

What if this one person leaves you?

What if this person belongs to someone else?

What if someone doesn’t have this person?

Is having someone by your side is the only happiness nowadays?

“No, my answer is something different,” - I commented on the post

Today I ask you what happiness means to you?

So how do you respond to this question? No one could answer this without thinking for while.

Do you guys want to know what my answer was?

I commented, “Happiness is freedom, Happiness is letting go of your worries”. Yes! You read it right "letting go of your worries”

I know the meaning of happiness varies from person to person. What makes one person happy won’t make another person feel the same. It’s even something that changes over time. If I asked you and your friend what happiness means to you, the two answers would be wildly different. There is no universally agreed-upon definition of happiness and that’s the reason, I don’t want this blog to become a guide or advice clinic. Rather, this is just me, having been inspired by a wonderful lecture on life and happiness, trying to work out what I think being happy means to me.

The reason I commented “Happiness is freedom, Happiness is letting go of your worries because, Once u started expressing yourself, once you find freedom for yourself, once you started feeling free. You find peace and for me, that’s the happiness and I think everyone would agree on this point.

If you want to switch your job, feel free and switch

If you want to change your lifestyle, feel free and change

If you want to leave the relationship, feel free and express

If you want to confess, feel free and confess

If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down.

Don’t burden yourself with the things you are not happy about. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and you will be happy.

In my experience, the people who struggle with the so-called “life purpose” question, always complain that they don’t know what to do. But the real problem is not that they don’t know what to do. It’s that they don’t know what to give up.

Feel free. Fly happily

Manage your FOMO (Fear of missing out).

When u move beyond your fear, you feel free.

Happiness is freedom.

How to decide what happiness is for you?

As I said in the intro part, Happiness may be different from person to person but I think some key signs that assessing happiness is-

Feeling like you are living the life you wanted.

Feeling like something is giving you peace inside out.

Feeling that balance your emotional state.

Feeling when u feel satisfied with yourself.

Your happiness is not in anyone’s hand, feel free to express it.

Remember!

As  stars belong to the sky,

Happiness belongs to you.

Aahhh happiness! It sounds so simple, doesn’t it?
